Android Apps

A great way to enjoy our meditations, music and more!

We’re excited about phone applications and what they allow us to do that we can’t do with an album or the podcast. The ability to listen to a meditation with or without music is an example of the added value that an app gives. We now have eight of our apps on Google Play (Android Market).

In addition, Wizzard Media has developed an app allowing easy access to our podcast and bonus features. It’s available on

Hi Nicole — We submitted an update to the original App two weeks ago and are trying to find out why it’s not showing up on the market. From what we can tell, other Android developers are having a similar problem. We’ll keep working on it!

    Hi Mary,

I’m very grateful for your podcasts. Thanks for making them available.

I would love to use your apps but I don’t have an iPhone or Droid. Intel and Asus are setting up an app store for netbooks (Appup)–would it be possible for you to have your apps available there?

  4. Mary on June 23rd, 2010 10:00 am

Glad you’re enjoying the podcast, Suzanne. We’ll look into Appup and see if it’s feasible for us. Best wishes.

So sad that your android app is still not available… I’ll keep looking…..

  6. Mary on July 7th, 2010 10:27 am

Cindi, We’ve tried yet another way to get it back on the market. Here’s hoping…

Hi I’m accessing the android store and can confirm that searching for
    Simply being
    Oasis Meditation
    Meditation Oasis

Or even browsing doesnt show the app at all after about 5 mins of scrolling

  8. Mary on July 20th, 2010 9:11 am

Josh, we have been sending email and website comments on to the Android Market Team in hopes this situation will be corrected. Thanks for adding yours.

i still cannot find the android app

  10. Mary on July 26th, 2010 10:45 am

We made a change that has made it visible to some people apparently, as there have been a few sales. Let us know if it doesn’t show up for you within a week.

  11. Josh Craig on July 26th, 2010 5:35 pm

😀 Visible, and purchased! Searched on Oasis and it was there (Australian network).

Well, I see you are online now… and the app costs a buck. I can’ do that however I won’t use a credit card on my cell phone. It would be nice if you included a paypal option or that we can pay here on the web site and receive a confirmation number

  14. Mary on August 2nd, 2010 1:12 pm

Sorry, Aurora, we can take payments. The Android market is its own system and the app has to be purchased through them.

  15. Stacy on August 28th, 2010 8:38 pm

I cannot find your app in the android market. I love your podcasts and find that no matter what is going on with my day, there’s a meditation for it.
Having the app would make the experience even better!

  16. Mary on August 29th, 2010 9:23 am

Stacy, which app are you looking for — Simply Being or Relax & Rest?

    Glad you’re enjoying the meditations!

  17. Andi on September 4th, 2010 12:04 pm

Hello, I’m looking for your app but cannot find in my Android Market. Any suggestions?

  18. Mary on September 4th, 2010 2:44 pm

Some people are finding our Apps now, but not everyone it seems. All we can suggest is to search on a number of different terms:
Simply Being, Relax & Rest (the App titles), meditation, relax, and you can try “Heart of Healing” which is our developer name on the Android Market. If you still can’t find it, maybe it will help to inform Google you can’t find it.

As of today, sept. 8th, i still can not find the app(s) via the droid market. I d0o not know if the type of droid phone i am using has anything to do with it? I am using a Motorola Cliq XT.

  20. Mary on September 9th, 2010 9:20 am

kevin, I wish we had an answer for you. Some others have also reported not being able to find our apps, and we have no idea why. The only thing I can suggest are what I suggested to Andi above — search on a number of different terms:
Simply Being, Relax & Rest (the App titles), meditation, relax, and “Heart of Healing” which is our developer name on the Android Market. If you still can’t find it, maybe it will help to complain to Google.

  21. Jessica on October 8th, 2010 6:13 am

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but I too am unable to locate your apps via the Android Market on my HTC G1. I have tried the terms suggested to both “Nicole” and “Kevin” with no success.

Thought you may care to know. Cheers!

  22. Mary on October 8th, 2010 4:51 pm

Jessica, sorry about this. We’re at a loss as to what else we can do to get solve this! The only terms we can think of are meditation, Simply Being, Heart of Healing (our Android app developer name), relax, relaxation, meditate… Seems like more people are finding it but not everyone!

  23. Thorong La on June 23rd, 2011 2:37 am

For people that still can’t find the apps:

  24. Kim on July 12th, 2011 7:35 am

I found it on the Android Apps right away and it costs $2.99.

  25. Ann on December 28th, 2011 3:10 pm

Can’t find the podcast app in Android Market. Loving the others! Thank you so much for your generosity!

  26. Mary on December 28th, 2011 3:42 pm

Ann, you are welcome! The podcast app is not currently available on the Android Market, but it is available on —

  27. Justin on January 30th, 2012 8:03 am

If we’ve bought the app on the iPhone, can we get the Android app for free?

  28. Mary on January 30th, 2012 12:15 pm

Justin, afraid not. It’s sold by different sellers and the apps are not transferable. They are on completely different software platforms.

Regarding: ” At Ease: Anxiety and Worry relief ”

    Hello Meditation Oasis,

Please add this one to the Andriod Market. The apps you currently have available don’t include guided breathing.

    Thank you!

  30. Mary on February 9th, 2012 8:35 pm

vblanca, At Ease is available on Android. Sorry, we need to update our web page to include it!

  31. Nikki on February 24th, 2012 12:46 pm

I love your app “Simply Being” for the Android phones. I am newer to meditation, and this app helps me keep a quiet and peaceful mind during the meditation.
I believe this is the second time that I have experienced something “otherworldly” during meditation. I’m not sure how to describe it, but I first noticed it in my hands. I couldn’t feel them anymore. (it wasn’t the circulation being cut off or anything, because I sit in such a way as to keep that from happening.) I felt very heavy, but light at the same time. I didn’t feel like I was “here” anymore…it’s really difficult to describe, but I loved the entire experience. Thank you, Mary and Richard, for the amazing guided meditation and this amazing website!

  32. Mary on February 24th, 2012 2:25 pm

Nikki, you are so welcome! Usually the mind is so focused on things that you could say that our awareness is “identified” with them. Meditation allows the mind to settle down and let go of its focus, so that you experience awareness itself. You experience awareness and objects of perception at the same time. Things like your hands may feel less dense or distant. It’s very, very restful for the mind — a big relief! It IS difficult to describe. In fact, this explanation is only an approximation of what happens.

I downloaded your wonderful app. it had the picture of a woman on the front. I think I downloaded it from the web site. Is that possible? Well I had to reset my phone and lost it. I don’t see it in the marketplace on Android. Thanks

  34. Mary on March 20th, 2012 10:05 am

Rhory, it’s not possible to download an app from our website. You would have had to download it from the Android Market or Amazon. It sounds like you must have had the Meditation Oasis podcast app (developed by Wizzard Media). It is now only available on
