You are welcome, Naomi. We're glad the podcast is helping.

Affirmations have never been very useful for me personally. Since my meditations grow out of my own experience, it's unlikely I'd create a meditation with affirmations. Also my focus on my path has had to do with surrender to what is happening rather than trying to control it. That isn't to say that affirmations aren't useful for some people. It's a matter of finding what is useful to you on your particular path of healing and learning. I'm sure there are meditations that you could find that include affirmations.

I will, however, give some thought as to whether I can create something to use specifically on those days when there is a lot of anxiety. I would also suggest you try the Emotional Ease meditation and see what happens.

Finally, I hope you'll explore all avenues for helping with this. In some situations, the right kind of therapy can be really helpful, as well as some natural ways of soothing anxiety. I have found a lot of benefit from Ayurveda in this regard.

Hi Mary and Meditation Oasis Team.
In June this year at the age of 29 I began suffering from anxiety/panic attacks. Finding your podcasts has truly made a difference to being able to relax, slow down my breathing and help me gain some control over what is happening to me.
Have you thought of doing a meditation specifically relating to anxiety/panic attacks. I'm not quite sure I can put it to words but there are some days when I can feel an attack is imminent and the fear of the unknown (eg when it is going to happen) can be overwhelming.

I still continue to do meditation but on these days it would be good to have a meditation that helps to relax but also combat the negative feelings that come with the condition by repeating affirmations such as, I am responsible for all of my experiences. I keep my thoughts centred on what I wish to experience. I view all experiences as opportunities for me to learn and grow. Today is a wonderful day. I choose to make it so.
Just a thought and thanks for such wonderful podcasts, I honestly don't know where I would be today without them.

Hello,
I'm from Holland and every morning I start the day listening to one of your podcast meditations. In that way I can be more relaxed during the day, becouse I met my real self and I know that it's available for me to go there and relax. I'm going to a difficult period in my life and it really comforts me. Thank you so much! Hope you know what it means to other people.
Have a great day!

Realizing that there is no right or wrong way was a great help to me when I was first starting. It removed one of the big worries I had.
