I agree a lot with this statement.  I feel the same.

Some people value it when people stick to their opinions, which is OK by me, and we all do it from time to time (it seems to be a religion for some people), but it&#039;s a form of clinging.

..and that to which we cling, we defend with our lives.
After a while it becomes a pure ego issue.
